It is a BO project licensed by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MENR). It is a 150 m high gravity dam with a curved RCC (Roller Compacted Concrete) body, and with 389 m crest length. A single diversion tunnel is located at the right bank with 8.10m inner diameter. The Spillway is located at the right abutment, having three bays controlled by radial gates. Discharge capacity is 1,245 m3/s.
