The project is located on the Herciki stream, 1.5 km east of the village of Varli, 6.0 km south of the district of Digor in Kars province. With the construction of the Dam, 1395 ha (gross) area,
1271,87 ha (net) area will be irrigated as a sprinkler + drip within the pressurized pipe system. And drinking water needs of the 13
villages in the vicinity will be met. Project purpose is irrigation and drinking water supply.
