The project has 110 422 ha gross irrigation area where all water demand is supplied from existing Yamula Dam by pumping inside of Kayseri, Kırşehir, Nevşehir and Yozgat province. The Yamula Dam is a 115 m high. The total capacity of 22 nos of pumps are 93.16 MW. The water conveyance consists of 6285.88 m tunnel and7283.50 m channel. The required annual pumping energy is about 221.90 GWh/year.
