The aim of the project is to develop the planning and implementation design for the displacement of the highway that passes parallel to the Orhaneli Creek according to the route to be selected, with the improvement of the Orhaneli Creek and partial route change in order to extract the boron mine (Bigadiç Boron Operations Directorate – Kestelek Open Mine) over which the creek flows. In addition, Geological and hydrogeological research studies of the basin have been carried out in the locations determined in order to prevent the underground waters, which pose a great obstacle and threat to open pit operation, from coming to the quarry.
