The Alpana Project is located on the Rioni River close to Alpana. The Project is consist of a dam with a 50 m height from thalweg, an energy tunnel with 7.3 m diameter and 3025 m length and a hydroelectric power plant with 100MW capacity near Lajanuri and Rioni Rivers junction.
