This is a private owned Project licensed according to Energy Law No 4628 having Hydropower purpose which is located on Karadere in Araklı Trabzon province. The Akocak and Erikli Weirs have a height of 9.50m above foundation and a crest length of 15 m for Akocak Weir and 30 m for Erikli Weir.
Erikli diversion weir is connected to Akocak diversion weir via derivation tunnel having 3.5m diameter and 3283m long. From an intake structure on the left bank a power tunnel of 6169m length reaches the powerhouse. The power tunnel has a diameter of 3.50m with horse shoe shape. After 6169m of tunnel, steel penstock of 1.80m diameter and 1376m long is connected to powerhouse.
