Within the scope of Helmand River Basin Development Project, it is aimed to irrigate agricultural area of Musa Qala and Zamin Davor regions.
The dam which is constructed on the Musa Qala river will irrigate the agricultural area of Musa Qala region. Dam and irrigation facilities are under the design stage.
The agricultural area of the Zamin Davor region will be irrigated with pumping system using the tailwater potential of the Kajaki Dam. Irrigation and pumping facilities are under the design stage.
