Izmir – Kareis Dam; is located within the borders of Karaburun district of İzmir province, which is in the Aegean Region-No.06 Aegean Basin, and in the north of Çeşme district center. The dam axis is at a distance of 22.0 km from Balıklıova village of Karaburun district and at the same time, it is on the Camiboğazı creek, which is downstreamed to Karareis bay from the northwest of the Balıklıova village.
The project as a whole consist of: The construction of Salman and Karareis Dams, pumping of the water to be taken from these dams to the water reservoir and purification, then the supply of drinking water to Balıklıova, Ildır and Ilıca settlements located along the coast in the south of Karaburun, and finally connecting the transmission line to the existing water tank in Çeşme.

Services Offered
  •  Dam Body static and dynamic analyzes; hydraulic, stability and static-reinforced concrete calculations and final dimensioning studies for structures connected to the dam and drinking water transmission line are done within the scope of this project.
  •  Desing of all structures, roads (inc. Transportation, service and relocation roads), mechanical and electrical equipment has been prepared.
  • Bill of quantity calculations were done and construction, mechanical and electrical works technical specifications were prepared for construction tender.
  •  The expropriation plans required for the project site have been prepared and the forest permit procedures have been completed.
    16% of the engineering services performed within the scope of the project is related to the drinking water transmission line.
