The Sadmeli Project is located on the Rioni River in between Oni and Ambrolauri cities. The Project is consist of a dam with 25.5 m height from thalweg, an energy tunnel with 6.8 m diameter and 13250 m length which receives the Lukhunis and Ritseula tributaries and a hydroelectric power house with 148.7 MW capacity near city of Sadmeli.
