This is a BOT project which is licensed by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) having Hydropower purpose which is located on Orhaneli River in Bursa province. The Dam has a height of 125m from foundation and a crest length of 325m. A 11,461.636m (first 513.50m was performed by DSİ) power tunnel with excavation diameter of 5.0m is excavated by TBM (tunnel boring machine). Pre cast segment lining was done in the tunnel. The surge tank is located at 10+770 of power tunnel consist of a throttle of 8m inner diameter, 62m height and tank of 18m inner diameter, 21.5m height. The surge tank contains 2 balancing tunnels, diameter 4m & 60m length. 3.2m diameter penstock continues from valve chamber to bifurcation point. Total length is 1,166.00m. The powerhouse is hosting two vertical axis Francis type turbines, and installed capacity of each unit is 50MW. With 100MW total installed capacity, 322.4m gross head and 38m3/s discharge the facility could produce 422,65GWh total energy per year. 1st unit and 2nd unit were commssionned on 27.10.2010 and 25.11.2010 respecvively.
