The contract of the “Sakarya and Susurluk Basins Drought Management Plan Project”, where special measures shall be set out for Sakarya-Susurluk Basins with various studies such as drought analyses, modeling studies, sectoral susceptibility analyses, has been signed with the participation of Water Administration General Director Mr. Bilal Dikmen and Tractebel Hidro Dizayn’s Board Member Mr. Denizhan Bütün.
Within the scope of the Drought Management Plans, it is aimed to increase our country’s resistance to drought, to reduce possible economic losses and to raise awareness of the public and local governments about drought by determining the measures to be taken before, during and after the drought in order to reduce the negative effects that may occur when faced with possible drought risks and to solve drought-related problems.
