Founded in 1998, Tractebel Hidro Dizayn has grown rapidly, and became one of the most dynamic engineering companies of Türkiye.
Tractebel Hidro Dizayn was transformed into a Joint Stock Company in 2010, and started to enhance its overseas activities by the partnership established with Lahmeyer International GmbH in February 2011, which was one of the world’s leading consultancy companies.
As a natural consequence of the sale of Lahmeyer to Tractebel in December 2014, the partnership structure that started with Lahmeyer in February 2011 continues with Tractebel today. With over 100 years of experience in energy and infrastructure engineering, Tractebel is the engineering division of the world giant ENGIE (formerly GDF SUEZ) Group.
Tractebel Hidro Dizayn has the capacity to serve internationally for all stages of a project, from feasibility to decommissioning. Today, it contributes to the national economy with the foreign exchange input it generates by providing engineering and consultancy services abroad, directly both to the private sector and to public enterprises, institutions and organizations.
